Alarm Response

Our alarm response service provides rapid, professional attendance whenever an activation occurs. Upon receiving an alert a trained CPS Incident Response Support Officer is deployed to attend site, investigating the cause of the activation, and take appropriate action to secure the premises. This ensures issues are dealt with promptly, reducing disruption and risk.

Officers carry out methodical checks to identify faults, unauthorised access, or environmental triggers, restoring security and resetting systems where permitted. Where escalation is required, we coordinate with emergency services and remain on site to maintain control until the situation is resolved.

Our Support Officers operate within an intelligence-led framework. Observations, incident reports, patrol logs, and intelligence are centrally analysed to identify emerging risks, prevent further incident and identify offenders.

Where appropriate, CPS progresses matters through in-house private prosecution, allowing offences such as trespass, theft, and repeat anti-social behaviour to be dealt with effectively. Evidence gathered by our officers is reviewed internally to ensure cases are lawful, proportionate, and robust. This approach reduces delays, strengthens deterrence, and supports long-term site protection for our clients.

Trespassers

In the event of a break-in or suspected burglary, we provide immediate and controlled response through our Incident Response teams. Support Officers attend promptly to assess the situation, secure the premises, and ensure the safety of the site.

Where forced entry, criminal damage or unauthorised persons are identified, our officers take proportionate action to prevent further loss or disruption. If a suspect is present, CPS officers may lawfully detain individuals where appropriate, in accordance with legislation, training and company procedures, until police arrive.

Officers preserve the scene, control access, and liaise directly with police or emergency services as required. Using authorised access protocols, officers can enter the premises, conduct internal and external checks, and ensure the site is left secure.

Patrols

Break In & Burgulary

CPS officers respond to incidents of unauthorised presence on private property with a calm, controlled, and lawful approach. Upon attendance, officers assess the situation, engage where appropriate, and clearly establish the individual’s right to be on site.

Where trespass is confirmed, officers will issue directions to leave the premises and take proportionate steps to prevent further disruption. Our focus is on early resolution, de-escalation, and protecting the safety of the site, its users, and surrounding community.

If an individual refuses to comply or presents an ongoing risk, officers may remove a trepasser where lawful and necessary using reasonable force.
